Yair Nitzani is an Israeli musician, comedian and satirist. Nitzani started to get famous in the 80s after his army servis in the IDF radio station as T-Slam's keyboardist and vocalist. He wrote a few of the band's famous songs; among them are "Radio Chazak" (Loud Radio), "Partzufa Shel HaMdina" (The Country's Face), "Tnu Li Rokenrol" (Give Me Rock n' Roll) "Od Pgisha" (Another Date) "Chatzavim porchim'" (The Sea Squills Are Blooming)and Boker Shel Kef ( Agreat morning). His identifying mark in the band was a faucet glued to his forehead. After T-Slam disbanded he joined Erez Tal and Avri Gilad on the show Ma Yesh (What's Up) in the Israeli Army Radio, and HaOlam HaErev (The World Tonight) in Israeli Channel 2. He was also appointed to the CEO of the Hed Artzi company, and was responsible for discoveries such as Natasha's Friends, Adam and a few more bands that were active in the end of the eighties. He was the brain behind the idea to mix Ofra haza's yemenite songs with Modern Beat and brought izhar Ashdot to produce Galbi and Im Ninalu. In his solo career his song "Hashem Tamid" was very famous, a song based on the character of "A Good Arabian" from Ma Yesh. Another famous song of his solo career was "Shir Hamangal" - The Song of the Mangal (Mangal = BBQ).His solo album went gold and hashem tamid was song of the year. In the years 2003-2005 he wrote and announced the three seasons of Ahorei HaChadashot (literally, "The Behind of the News' ) in Israeli Channel 10. nitzani is the owner of his music copmany Yair nitzani music.
