Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki is a Hindi language Indian television series that airs on Sahara One channel. The series premiered on May 30, 2005, and airs every Monday to Friday at 9pm IST. The show completes 1000 episodes as of June 17, 2009.
[edit] PlotThe successful show has been running for two years. During the course of the first year of the show's run, the protagonist of the show was Rani Goyal/Thapar née Mitthal a rich girl who gets married into a poor family and learns to adjust to lower middle class life. After the death of her first husband Raj Goyal, her family gets her married to her husband's rich lookalike Prince Thapar. During the second year of the show's run, after the death of the characters of Rani and Prince, the show's protagonist became Pari Thapar, Rani's daughter who looks exactly like her. The show focusses on Pari's life, her first love in college, her marriage to her soulmate Saumya Parashar (Aamir Ali), and the obstacles she has to face in her husband's house. Saumya dies himself while climbing. after the death of Saumya, Pari delivers the Baby Boy Shubham. Sameer marries to pregnant Alisha (Nisha Sareen). after Sameer and Alisha Married, Alisha gives birth to baby boy Shivam. 5 years later, Pari is going to marries to Dr.Manav. When Shubham is 7 years old Dr.Manav becomes Mad and he is married to Pari 7 years after the death of Saumya.
Rani is the focus of the present storyline... she is an orphan whose marriage has been fixed with a guy in an aristocratic family in calcutta. her grandfather asks pari and manav to take care of her till she is ready to be married. they agree, mostly coz pari is drawn to rani (her b'day id pari's mom's b'day too and they both have the same name). a freak accident at school causes rani to lose her eyesight but Manav and pari adopt her and bring her home. their family is complete and DP and jyothi also have a baby girl. then one day pari falls and that fall leads to a far-fetched medical condition that paves the way for her death. before dying she makes sure Rani receives her eyes and so pari continues in the serial thru' rani's eyes. the serial now has its THIRD leap of 15 years. manav and pari are both dead. shubham is a doc. DP and jyothi run the house but DP's mom damayanthi and his and jyothi's daughter are as yet missing from the current show. [edit] Characters[edit] Rani(1)Rani is a girl from a rich family which just lost its place in the society because of a huge financial lost and she gets married to a middle-class man,Raj Goyal(Arjun Punj);who's bike crashes with Prince J.Thaapar's (Raj's lookalike,but really rich)car and so Rani mistakes him to be Raj and later finds out and so on but then they get married ....later she dies so does Prince after her but she gets prince married to a girl named Neha(who really is mean)before dying. [edit] Pari (age 39)Pari is a Rani's a Looklike daughter is get married to Saumya (Aamir Ali). 7 years after the death of Saumya, Pari remarried to Dr.Manav (Vinay Jain). She recently died of lung damage. [edit] Saumya (age 41)Played by Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii's fame Aamir Ali. Pari's Husband. He was once in love with Sanjana, but because his family Guruji predicted that his wife will die within 40 days of marriage he got Married to Pari. Kamya always hated Pari's mother & wanted to take revenge from Pari was exact replica of her mother.But 40 days changed his life as he fall deeply in love with Pari, and then represented an Idol Husband. [edit] Kamya (age 75)Kamya is the Prince's girlfriend who created rift between Prince and Rani. She got married to Abhay and She had two Children Saumya and Ishana. and She is the Pari's mother-in-law. [edit] Rohit (age 54)Khushi's Husband and Pari's best friend.
