[edit] CSL Fury

The Fury won the final CSL championship, defeating the Vancouver 86ers in goals aggregrate 3-1 in the two game series in 1992 season.

[edit] Post CSL year

The Fury went on to join the former Canadian National Soccer League, but only for the 1993 season. Since their demise, Winnipeg has not had a professional soccer team; although the current Canadian Soccer League (no direct connection) seeks a western division which would include a Winnipeg entry to begin play in 2010.
