The story described how he overcame his social problems with Tourette Syndrome during his early years.[citation needed] During the years 1978 and 1979, while William Baxter was attending California State University in Hayward, California; he constructed several puzzles such as hidden words, crossword puzzles and mazes, pertaining subjects from the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible. It wasn't until over 10 years later that Baxter's Puzzles got the attention of Rainbow Publishers [6] in San Diego, California. In 1990, Wiliam Baxter became the co author of Old Testament Bible Puzzles [7] [12], New Testament Bible Puzzles [8] [12], and the Life of Jesus Bible Puzzles [9] [12].
