[edit] Nominations for the Oak Leaves

[edit] Parsecboy

With 16 coordinators, 9 is a majority

Id like to nominate Parsecboy (talk · contribs) for the Chevrons w/oak leaves award for his outstanding work in bringing almost all of the WWI era German battleships - dreadnoughts and dreadnoughts - up to GA, A, or FA class. His single-mind determination in this field has helped both with the WWI centennial drive we are running and with my project to get all battleship articles up to FA class for one big FT nom.

  • I might question this because he did nominate them at WP:SHIPS and they were just cross-posted here, but if noone else thinks that's an issue he certainly did work hard on the articles, so I'll support. – Joe N 20:43, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
  • I might just be being thick, but I don't see a discussion of a system for the award there, just cross-posting and closing. Am I missing it? – Joe N 23:03, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
  • It's implicit in our acceptance of the review, in my opinion. The ACM criteria only require "significant contribution to three or more military history A-Class articles", and this isn't affected by how, precisely, those articles came to be A-Class.
