The English Gaming Collaboration of the week process began on October 4, 2004, wherein the articles in question were voted on by editors in order to be selected. The final collaboration was on June 4, 2007; on January 19, 2009 the Collaboration of the Week was restarted, with the articles selected randomly by a bot from the set of high/top priority articles that were C-class or lower.
