[edit] Requests for assessment

Shortcuts:
WP:MHA#REQ
WP:MHAR
Please also check Category:Unassessed military history articles for articles needing assessment.

If you have made significant changes to an article and would like an outside opinion on a new rating for it, please feel free to list it below. Requests for formal A-Class review should be made at the review department. B-Class requests are assessed using the five B-class criteria(FAQ). Please consider entering articles you have worked on in the military history article writing contest.

  • Relief of Ladysmith - have assessed as C-Class for WP:SAFRICA, would like this project's assessment to match if possible. Ron2K (talk) 14:09, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
    • MILHIST doesn't use C-class, but I have filled out the B-class checklist. Parsecboy (talk) 14:39, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
      • Cool, thanks. Ron2K (talk) 15:36, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
  • 24th Battalion (Australia): expanded. — AustralianRupert (talk) 07:21, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Elwyn King - pls reassess following rewrite with new/additional references. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 22:16, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
    • B-class: Milhist and aviation. Good work, Ian.  Roger Davies talk 06:11, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
  • would someone assess Maximilian, Count of Merveldt again? It was originally assessed (while underconstruction) as start class, but it is showing up on the article page as B. I think it should be a "b" but in perhaps it is better if someone else could straighten this out please. Auntieruth55 (talk) 23:56, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
    • Yep, someone made the MilHist Class parameter "B", even though the checklist included some "no"s, meaning there's some disconnect where it correctly shows an overall assessment of Start on the talk page but B at the top of the article (if you have the assessment display on). Anyway, it's a real B now... :-) Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 00:22, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Imperator Aleksandr II class battleship Please assess for B-class.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 08:11, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
  • 15th Brigade (Australia): expanded. — AustralianRupert (talk) 13:12, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
    • Start class, I'm afraid. Comments left on talk page.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:34, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
      • Cheers for that, they are all fair points. I think I've rectified two of them, but can't find the exact disband date yet. I will have a hunt around and see what I can find. So far nothing definitive, though. But anyway thanks for your time. — AustralianRupert (talk) 00:13, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Japanese prisoners of war in World War II - new article, which I hope will appear as a DYK in the next few days. I'd appreciate an assessment of whether it meets the B class criteria. Nick-D (talk) 06:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
    • Looks B to me; you'd want to expand the intro for a higher class as a first-off, but fine at this level - well done! Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 14:04, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Robert A. Little - additional text/citations/images for this top-scoring Australian ace who flew for the RNAS; pls assess for B-Class. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 13:22, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
  • HMS Lord Clive (1915) vastly expanded, please assess for B-class.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:07, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
  • Action at Winterthur (1799) please access for B class. New article. Auntieruth55 (talk) 01:20, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
