[edit] West-African coast, Niger river and Senegal river [edit] Congo river and neighbouring coastal area [edit] Cape of Good Hope to Zambezi river [edit] East Africa (Zanzibar, Madagascar, Seychelles, etc.) - Referencing of Rwandan Civil War: An anon on a rotating IP added a lot of detail that I've never seen anywhere else. (The literature on the 1994 genocide looks to have crowded out the literature on military history of the war.) The content looks legit and jives with my less detailed sources, but there's a lot of detail I just can't source. Help sourcing statements would be appreciated or even just letting me know what source to look at. - BanyanTree 12:26, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Resources [edit] Annotated bibliography Please use the following format when adding works: * <!-- bibliographical infomation --> ** Content: *** <!-- optional content summary --> ** Reviews: *** <!-- commentary on work by historians & other reputable sources --> ** Editor comments: *** <!-- personal commentary by editors --> - Current Bibliography on African Affairs (CBAA), Volume 4, No.3, 1971 has two review articles on historical African warfare and on the military's role in African states.
