Welcome to the Chinese-language cinema task force! This is a joint task force run between WikiProject Films and the China-related or Chinese-related WikiProjects (WikiProject China, WikiProject Hong Kong, WikiProject Macau and WikiProject Taiwan) for the purpose of gathering interested editors in the common purpose of improving Wikipedia coverage of Chinese-language cinema and raising the quality of already-existing articles.

[edit] Scope

This task force primarily covers Chinese-language cinema from the People's Republic of China (including mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) and the Republic of China (Taiwan), states that have Chinese as their primary official language. Chinese-language cinema may include not only domestic films from these areas, but also films made by filmmakers from these areas in other countries, films produced or co-produced by companies based in these areas, and foreign films shooting within these areas.
