Some Wikipedians have formed WikiProject Christianity to better organize information in articles related to Christianity. This page and its sub-pages contain their suggestions. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. The goal of this WikiProject is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Christianity available on Wikipedia. As a group, we do not prefer any particular tradition or denomination of Christianity, but endeavor that all Christian traditions are fairly and accurately represented. If you'd like to join and become a part of this project, sign the Membership Page. These are some things you can do to improve the quality of Wikipedia coverage of Christianity. - Attract attention from editors interested in Christianity and Christianity-related topics.
- Look over the recent changes list for recent improvements to articles, other changes, and vandalism.
- Create collaborative projects to systematically improve coverage.
- A regular collaboration.
- Adopted Topic, where a suite of topically related articles are targeted for improvement until there's a consensus to move on to a new topic. (see here)
- Article Review, for articles nominated by members for wider review. In this case the new ones go at the top and sink as new ones are added. (see here)
- Bring a more neutral voice to articles which categorize a movement as non-Christian or a cult.
- Improve the WPChristianity banner that goes at the head of Talk Pages to handle tags for unreferenced, copyedit needed, cleanup needed, expansion needed, and POV warning.
- Help the Maintenance Department
- Add more reward templates or barnstars (extant awards can be found here, and have people in the task force actually watching logs and rewarding key contributors.
- Assessment Department - These editors work to assess and categorize articles within the scope of the Christianity project. If you'd like to help, sign your name below.

- The Quill Interested mainly on improving and protecting pages about religious people such as Bishops and Archbishops. Also work quite a lot on the infoboxes for these pages, two infoboxes I have tried to improve dramatically are Template:Infobox Bishop (talk, links, edit) and Template:Infobox Archbishop (talk, links, edit). - Gr8opinionater (talk) 21:54, 24th August 2008 (GMT) I am a Christian from Bootle in the United Kingdom. I come from a religiously mixed family background with my mother being a member of the Protestant/Anglican/Church of England and My father being a Roman Catholic. I personally adhere to the Roman Catholic interpretations and teachings but I like to disassociate myself with denominations and consider myself a Christian equal with my Catholic/Protestant/Orthodox brothers in Christ first and foremost. I am very interested in the different denominations and beliefs of the Christian churches.

- BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 04:54, 8 December 2009 (UTC) I'm joining this wikiproject because I do have an interest in Christianity (especially Bible-related and historical topics), and am practicing the religion, even though I have some areas to work on. By the way, I'm also joining this project to broaden my horizons somewhat, because so far, the only wikiprojects I have joined are music-related ones (including Wikipedia:WikiProject Christian metal). I'll warn you, as of December 7, 2009, I am more fluent with the guidelines of the music articles than I am of the religious article guidelines. I'll oftentimes edit certain Christianity-related music articles, along with an occasional Bible-related or historical Christian article.

Naming conventions - For people: [[John Calvin]], unless others by that name exist, in which case the activity for which the individual is best known should be bracketed, e.g., [[John Calvin (reformer)]] (not [[John Calvin (scholar)]], [[John Calivn (theologian)]], etc.)
- For clergy: (minister), (deacon), (priest), (bishop)
- For scholars: (theologian), (philosopher)
- Other possibilities: (author), (martyr), (missionary), (religious)
- For other subjects: The simpler the title the better, with redirects or disambiguation pages, as necessary.
