[edit] The Maple Leaf Award (red, silver, or gold)
{{subst:The Maple Leaf Award| type=... | Awarded for... }}
Use type=Red to give a user a small kudos for a useful series of edits that you saw them make or for one particularly clever edit that deserves mention. The type=Silver level is for completion of a major initiative, such as writing a featured article about Canada or standardising a series about one Canada-related topic. The type=Gold level is awarded for a user that you have seen put months or years of hard work into all aspects of Canada-related articles.

[edit] Tables of contents and indexes, and related tasks
The following pages serve as tables of contents or indexes to Canada-related content on Wikipedia. They need to be developed, and maintained:
- List of basic Canada topics - for its placement, see Lists of basic topics
- Refine and maintain the List of basic Canada topics, a key guide on Wikipedia to Canada as a subject. It serves as a table of contents, summary, and topic outline of coverage on Canada and is the most useful tool on Wikipedia for exploring and understanding fundamental material about Canada (and how it fits together) on Wikipedia. Its purpose is an important one: it simply enables readers to see at a glance how the subject of Canada is broken down, what the main component topics are, and how they relate to each other - that is, how information on Canada is organized (here, and in the world-at-large). It is a site map and outline of knowledge that demystifies the subject known as "Canada". Because of its central role in the presentation of Wikipedia's coverage of this subject, it is very important to develop and maintain it to the highest level of quality: to help readers improve their conceptual awareness and understanding of Canada as well as find their way around the subject on Wikipedia. For examples of other pages in this set, see List of basic France topics, List of basic Thailand topics, List of basic Japan topics, List of basic Taiwan topics, and List of basic Iceland topics, all of which are currently completed to a higher level of quality than this page. In other words, it's getting its ass kicked. The List of basic Canada topics, is incomplete, needs your editing contributions, and is especially in need of maps and pictures.
- List of Canada-related topics - for the set of index pages it belongs to, see Lists of country-related topics
