WikiProject Canada was formed to foster better articles on the country of Canada with a spirit of cooperation. This page and its subpages contain suggestions on formatting and layout of articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk page. To participate, simply add your name at the project member page.

This project covers the creation and editing of articles related to the nation of Canada, its cities, counties, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Canada in a fair and accurate manner.

As of November 26, 2009, there are 41,447 articles within the scope of WikiProject Canada, of which 67 are featured articles.

Use type=Red to give a user a small kudos for a useful series of edits that you saw them make or for one particularly clever edit that deserves mention. Its purpose is an important one: it simply enables readers to see at a glance how the subject of Canada is broken down, what the main component topics are, and how they relate to each other - that is, how information on Canada is organized (here, and in the world-at-large). It is a site map and outline of knowledge that demystifies the subject known as "Canada".
