Aviation-related featured content in Wikipedia

Featured content represents the best of what Wikipedia has to offer. These are the articles, pictures, and other contributions that showcase the polished result of the collaborative efforts that drive Wikipedia. All featured content undergoes a thorough review process to ensure that it meets the highest standards and can serve as an example of our end goals. A small bronze star () in the top right corner of a page indicates that the content is featured.

Currently, of the 41,008 aviation-related Wikipedia articles, 119 are listed below as good articles (about 1 in 344), and 44 are listed as featured articles (about 1 in 930). Articles are not included on both lists, so when a good article is promoted to featured article status, it is removed from the good articles list.

Adding good and featured articles gives a total of 163 articles (about 1 in 251). As a comparison, of the 3,146,015 Wikipedia articles, 7,910 are good articles (about 1 in 397), and 2,732 are featured articles (about 1 in 1,150), for a total of 10,642 articles (about 1 in 295).
