Requests for undeletion is intended to assist users in restoring pages that were uncontroversially deleted, such as articles deleted via proposed deletion and also pages deleted under certain speedy deletion criteria such as G6. It also serves as a central location to request that deleted content deleted via other channels (such as AFD and other CSD criteria) be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere. You may also ask an administrator in Category:Wikipedia administrators who will provide copies of deleted articles. Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for Wikipedia:Deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion, and you are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at DRV—not here. For images, use {{ImageUndeleteRequest}}. [edit] Current requests[edit] OrikasoI'd like to know why my article has been deleted. The heading is ORIKASO which is origami using polypropylene. Before you delete this I'd also like to know why there are so many commercial advertisements already in the Wiki pages - Nikon, Coca Cola and so on (some pages even carrying logo's) apparently my article looked like an advertisement but it wasn't. It was informative and also is an invention with world-wide patents. If someone would email me for a discussion on the topic that would be great. I did make a donation too after placing the article only to find it vanish.
Copyright violation is NOT an issue. I own the company, intellectual property and several patents. Please can we relist my original script about this innovative new idea. It's already all over the Internet like a rash. The thousands of end-users out there would be delighted to see it on Wiki and might just make a donation too. I still think you are unfair to refuse this humble effort when you openly accept, for example, Nikon and Coca Cola which are just advertisements? — Preceding unsigned comment added by K7ventures (talk • contribs) 21:39, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Eimantas PaltarackasHello, I do apologize but today I did noticed that one of my articles has been deleted by user called Renata3. The reason of deletion stated "No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion: total advertising". I never meant to make it look as an advertisement, never had such intentions. I provided a short story of his life, biography.
Thank you Protonk for your help. I honestly appreciate what you'd sujested for me so the article could be restored. We believe the film's and television shows she is listed as appearing in are notable and they do include her in the cast credits. Cindy is slated to not only appear in but star in upcoming films. She is a growing well known actress to her growing fan base. Please put her page back up and allow the world to view her. concern was: Unnotable B-movie actress. No significant coverage in reliable, third party sources. Most films she's listed as appearing in are not even notable enough for inclusion themselves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.192.48.34 (talk) 01:58, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Bogumiła ŻongołłowiczRealised just now that this article has been deleted. I consider this as a misunderstanding as the person is quite well known in Australian Polish Community. Maybe there was a lack of citations in English and probably the name should be spelled with simple Latin letters to make it more obvious that it should stay. To begin with: is it possible that I get the contents of deleted article to review it? Pplu (talk) 04:27, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Peppermint ParlourThis article was deleted because "nonnotable band, doesn't look like they were ever signed to a label". They were signed to a small Cardiff label Apex Records and released a single in 1986. Their profile has increased in the last 5 years where a 19 song CD was issued and also have a cult following in Japan. The lead singer is Alan Thompson, currently working as a DJ/Presenter for BBC Wales. The band is still known and remembered and also have some tunes placed by fans on You Tube and have a lot of listeners on Last.fm It would be great for Wiki to allow this article so as to allow fans to read and remember them — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.0.118.5 (talk) 09:26, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Gordon BasichisI have no idea why my page was deleted. It is truly ridiculous. I am a published author of three different books, all with the listed ISBN numbers. One book was a bestseller, Beautiful Bad Girl, and stills sells today. The Guys Who Spied for China is a brand new release, also with the listed ISBN number. The Constant Travellers was published by Putnams and also has its ISBN number. It was also optioned for a film at two major studios. Twentieth Century Fox and MGM. As for Beautiful Bad Girl, the Vicki Morgan Story, the book is now being optioned for film rights. It is an ongoing story that has lasting power both in the news and is studied by true crime aficionados and others. Why this would be deleted is beyond me. Much of the posting has been on your site for years now, and I find it strange that someone would now choose to delete it without asking or checking first.
[edit] AJAST_(programming)Please consider restoring the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJAST_(programming) page. It happened that the only article regarding this particular programming technique has been removed. This topic is not being covered in related wikipedia pages. It was useful despite the term wasn't widely known. We don't have better name anyway and this is alone is not good enough reason for deleting a useful article. Content of this article hasn't been transferred/migrated to Ajax article as it has been proposed in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/AJAST_(programming) Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.255.52.66 (talk) 05:16, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

I understand Wikipedia's stance now on this, as I didn't before...however, I would I will continue to go through numerous other similar companies listed on Wikipedia and request and expect their deletion also. Such as Clarins, Lancome, and MANY others. Why are these other skincare companies allowed to be indexed here but not mine? Please let me know what my misunderstanding is. [edit] Scott KennedyArticle was uncontroversially deleted on 29 March 2007 by Bobet with the reason "Non-notable buisness [sic] owner and unsuccessful politician") This implies that some given level of notability was insufficient, and was unchallenged. But reading the Wikipedia "Content Policy" on "Biographies of Living Persons", and perusing the thousands of non-notable biographies, it seems there is sufficient publicly verifiable published material on this individual to merit inclusion. Thank you for your consideration.
[edit] One Media Player per TeacherI want to re-post the article I made, One Media Player per Teacher (OMPT). It was deleted because of spam or conflict with another topic. I'm having problems with the credibility of the references I suppose. However this is a newly formed nonprofit organization, so the resources are limited. I work for OMPT and was assigned to post the Wikipedia article for the organization, so all of the information is credible and taken directly from the OMPT website (www.ompt.org). I work directly under the Executive Director, so there shouldn't be any problems, right? I mistakenly named the article "One Media Player per Child" the first time I posted it, and sent an email requesting it get deleted because of the title error. Maybe that has something to do with the article being deleted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oborrows (talk • contribs) 19:03, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Reframe ItPlease undelete this article. The article was deleted based on G4: Recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion. The page was previously deleted in July, 2009 because it lacked Notable sources. The page was later created with new information (the page was not identical) and many notable sources, including the New York times and other sources that are identified as notable on other Wikipedia articles. As such (and as stated under G4) "the reason for the deletion no longer applies." Thus it cannot be marked for speedy deletion under G4, and should not have been deleted. The page was marked for speedy deletion today, November 19th, after Reframe It received press coverage yet again by New York Times technology online, and has already been deleted, without any discussion. Thanks Hp4life (talk) 23:19, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Paul WeldayPaul Welday is a politician and business man of Oakland County. He is challenging incumbent Gary Peters in Michigan's Ninth Congressional District, and is widely regarded as the best Republican candidate by local politicians (see the page itself). He is endorsed for the office by prominent Oakland County names, such as ex-Congressman Joe Knollenberg and Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. He had previously served as the former's chief of staff. Paul Welday's name already appears several times on Wikipedia, and when the link is clicked on, a page suggesting creating a page arises. Please note his appearance and prominence in United States House of Representatives elections, 2010 under Michigan's Ninth District. Part 3 under notable enough to be in an encyclopedia states: "although such people can still be notable if they meet the primary notability criterion of 'significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject of the article.'" Welday has received significant coverage by the County's primary newspaper (The Oakland Press), as well as Metro Detroit's WWJ Newsradio 950 AM, and the Detroit News/Free Press. This coverage by "secondary sources" clearly qualifies his spot on Wikipedia. The reason given was that Paul Welday does not meet Wikipedia notability standards. For the reasons above, it seems, however, that he does. It should be noted that the individual who deleted this page, Orangemike is ideologically opposed and also dissented of prominent Republican Party members on his personal page. He indicated that felt George W. Bush should be "prosecuted". If the issue is that I need to add more information to build credibility, I have no problem doing so, but please let me know either way. [edit] AramramHello, I'm new to this. Don't understand why the page Aramram was deleted. This is an actual website and the description I placed of it is accurate. It has been covered by the local media (Arabic language) as well as local Jordanian bloggers and websites. While the site doesn't have international importance, the fact that it is the 1st Arabic-language Jordanian WebTV geared towards a Jordanian audience makes it have at least some local significance. This is attested by the fact that in the 5 months since its launch it is one of the top 200 sites visited in Jordan..... thanx —Preceding unsigned comment added by E.hamam (talk • contribs)

[edit] John Bailey (Irish politician)This article was deleted on 00:12, 27 September 2009 The article was deleted for failing notability. The subject of the article meets the criteria for notability as defined by WP:POLITICIAN. He holds a first level sub-national political office in Ireland - member of Dun Laoghaire City Council. He has received significant press coverage at national level in the two main broadsheet national newspapers The Irish Times & The Irish Independent and by the national TV broadcaster RTE. [edit] EcoligThe article Ecolig has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I am a research team member from UNICAMP (The University of Campinas) [1] one important University in Brazil (South America). We have been studding the Brain Machine Interfaces with the [DMCSI] Department of Machine, Control and Intelligent Systems [2]. I understand your concern about the notability since it is a new technology and the protocol we have been working Ecolig will change the relationship between human being and the electronic world. The article Ecolig has been published with Wikipedia a long time ago and nobody made any opposition about that. Since an essential part of the Wikimedia Foundation's mission is encouraging the development of free-content educational resources that may be created, used, and reused by the entire human community, we understand we are contributing with community with a good quality article. About the paper Ecolig - A semiotic protocol that uses neuroheadsets and CP-Nets; sincerely, there is no intention to give any credence to that, since it was presented in IADIS ED-MEDIA 2009 in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2009. As you know, there are several references in Wikipedia about IEEE, for example, with restrict access, I mean pay per view, and most of that represent a great research society contribution. Anyway, if you prefer, I can send you a copy of that article and exclude that reference in Wikipedia to be published. We trust in Wikipedia contribution to the human community and we have responsibility about the proposed content. I am confident you will reconsider the deleted proposition in order to keep Wikipedia up to dated with new technologies and keep the organization international in its nature, where the board of trustees, staff members, and volunteers are involved without discrimination based on their religion, political beliefs, sexual preferences, nationalities, etc... [edit] New Industrial RevolutionUser:Jclemens deleted this article, claiming that it was an "exhortation" and not based on something that was actually happening. I believe that this was an arbitrary decision, and was made without following the proper protocal for deletion of an article. He waited only two days prior to deletion of the page, contrary to the deletion policy. This article withstood scrutiny and had meaningful contributions for over a year. I think that his deletion was arbitrary and borders on censorship of ideas. Although the movement is right now in its infancy, one need only do a simple google search for "new industrial revolution" to find hundreds are hits relating to news, books, and other media on the subject. I think that the article was aptly named, as that is what the commentators and writers are calling it. I had several redirect pages for other names, such as Green economic revolution, Next Industrial Revolution, etc. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. [edit] Please undelete the article on Harry Willis.[edit] Harry WillisThis page has been deleted. The deletion and move log for the page are provided below for reference. 11:11, 31 May 2009 Spellcast (talk | contribs) deleted "Harry Willis" (Deleted because expired WP:PROD; Reason given: Unsubstantiated fiction with no references that I can find.)
There are literally thousands of people who know of Harry Willis. Many people have photographs of "him" hanging on a cliff in the Ardeche. He may not be documented in any official literature but that does not make him any less a fictional character than "Harry Potter", any of Terry Pratchett's creations, "Lily of the West", "tooth fairy", Santa or any other fictional, mythical or folklore character. He will have been mentioned in the diaries of countless children and adults who have been on PGL holidays in the Ardeche over the years. Most characters from folklore spent hundreds of years in folk songs and "word of mouth" stories before they were ever written down and you have plenty of them on this site. If you doubt how well known Harry Willis is then try asking the hundreds of people who have worked in the Ardeche (for PGL and many of the other holiday companies based there) over the last 30 years. Many of them can be found in the various PGL France and Ardeche veterans groups on Facebook. If you do not reinstate Harry Willis then you should also delete all other references in Wikipedia to any fictional, mythical or folklore character. Please, Please, undelete the article on Harry Willis.
