See the next to last question/comment from the interviewer where John Polkinghorne[1] says "The most discussed topic [in the science/theology debate] at the moment is divine action, and that is a sign that the encounter between science and theology is becoming closer. - He's a doctoral candidate at Columbia University. I found a summery of a dissertation of his on the American Council of Learned Societies website ([9]) but as this is the only reference to him I could find I'd consider his notability questionable.
