See also: Wikipedia:Articles for creation, Wikipedia:Peer review, Wikipedia:Centralized discussion, and Wikipedia:Requests for feedback There are many new articles that are being created that appeal to a wide audience. Likewise, there are many people with good ideas for new articles that might interest other people but they want to discuss it with others first. This page is for discussing ideas you have about new articles before you create them. It allows you to ask the opinion of others before spending time in creating an article. If you post here, you should explain (briefly) why you think an article is merited (that is, why a subject is notable), and you should provide at least a couple of links (to demonstrate that there are reliable sources for such an article). Here are other options besides posting to this page:
[edit] Schnitzel RecordsI am a big music fan and setting up my own record label. I've come across Schnitzel Records a few times as they have signed some really good bands, and believe they deserve a page on wikipedia. Feedback please :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:BlitzFact/my_sandbox BlitzFact (talk) 20:23, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Midget and HairsHello everyone. As per the "how to post a Wikipedia article" article, I am asking for editor feedback on this page. This entry is for the band Midget and Hairs, part of the Elephant Six Collective. Please let me know what ya'll think. Midget and Hairs is the experimental pop recording project of Paige Dearman, a musician associated with the Elephant Six Collective. Dearman was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and later was introduced to members of the Elephant Six Collective in Ruston, Louisiana. Dearman first began recording under the Midget and Hairs moniker in 1996, with the release of a 7-inch entitled “Cactus Screwballs.” The release featured Jeff Mangum, Hilarie Sidney, and Robert Schneider, who produced it. Dearman would continue to work with Mangum on recordings, and later collaborated with Andy Gonzales of the Marshmallow Coast on a 7-inch entitled “I’m a Big Kid Now” after the two moved to Seattle.[1] Dearman moved to Austin, Texas, where she began working as a psychiatric nurse’s assistant. In 2007, the label Royal Rhino Flying Records released a compendium of new and previously released material, entitled Midget and Hairs. [2] It was Dearman’s first full-length release. [edit] Feedback for article draftI've created an article in my sandbox at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jonrichey/Sandbox. I am a full time employee of the company that is the subject of the article. I do not own shares of the company and I am not being compensated for writing the article. I am posting on the drawing board to make sure the point of view in the article is sufficiently neutral to overcome the my conflict of interest. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. [edit] Feedback for Draft Article: Women EmployedHi, I am working on a draft article about an organization called Women Employed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Wemhoffj/Subpage:_Women_Employed_article I would like some feedback on whether you think this article meets the criteria of notability and neutrality. Athough there have been a number of news articles about the organization over the years (see the "See Also" section). I would appreciate any feedback before I move forward with this article. Thanks, (talk) 18:43, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Article for published authorI've finished writing an article about published author Connie Ann Kirk, posted at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:BKred/Connie_Ann_Kirk. I believe she fulfills WP:Notability for authors inasmuch as she has had "multiple independent periodical articles or reviews" (Booklist, School Library Journal, Writers' Journal, to name a few). I would love some feedback. BKred (talk) 05:55, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
