This project is intended to better organise information in articles related to Archaeology and co-ordinate efforts to categorise and present archaeology information. This page and its subpages contain initial suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page or just get stuck in.

Please add any requested articles or cleanups to Template:Archaeology_tasks. Also see the Archaeology Wikiportal!

[edit] Wikipedia 1.0 Validation

Archaeology is listed as one of the articles that the Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team have selected as targets for Wiki 1.0 validation. They are looking for Harvard-style references, style guide conventions, images, npov, decently-written text etc. One open task therefore is to proofread and reference the article to standard.
