The West Asian Football Federation, or WAFF, is an association of most of the football playing nations in Western Asia. Its members are Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. They organise the West Asian Football Federation Championship which the above 6 nations enter, with some invitees which are not part of the federation, but in the same region of Asia.

Some West Asian nations enter the Gulf Cup of Nations, who are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait. These nations are not technically part of the federation but are in the same region. Iraq, uniquely, enters both competitions.
