Welcome (film):
Welcome (Hindi: वेलकम, Urdu: ویلکم) is a 2007 Bollywood film, directed by Anees Bazmee. The film stars Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Malika Sherawat.
Uday Shetty Nana Patekar, Majnu Anil Kapoor and their boss RDX Feroz Khan are three comical dons. Uday is very keen to get his sister, Sanjana Katrina Kaif married into a respectable family. Unaware of Uday's real underworld profession, Dr. Ghungroo Paresh Rawal gets ready to make his nephew Rajiv Akshay Kumar marry with Uday's sister Sanjana. Meanwhile, Sanjana is unaware of her brother's plan about her marriage with Rajiv. Knowing the truth that Uday is a don, Ghungroo flees with Rajiv. Rajiv meets Sanjana and the two fall in love. Dr. Ghungroo didn't realise that she is a sister of a Mafia. Uday sent Majnu to go to Ghungroo and inform that Sanjana cannot marry Rajiv as she loves somebody else (who is Rajiv) while Rajiv goes to meet Uday to speak to him about his marriage with Sanjana. All confusions and chaos end up when Ghungroo belatedly realises that Sanjana is Uday's sister and Uday realises that Rajiv is Dr. Ghungroo's nephew. Their engagement day dawns where Rajiv and Sanjana, true lovers are full of bliss and delight. But their happiness lasts when stunning Isha cum Ishika Malika Sherawat comes into the picture and claims that she is Rajiv's fiance′ e. This drama done by Isha-Ishika was set by Dr. Ghungroo who didn't want to approve his nephew's marriage in a Don family. To get married, Sanjana and Rajiv try to change Uday, Majnu and RDX using Isha-Ishika. After thicks and thins, they make the impossible, possible by really removing the DON-GIRI from them.

According to boxofficeindia.com, Welcome opened to a massive response locally, it grossed Rs. 353 million in its first week, which exceeded Dhoom 2's opening, and is now only fourth to Race's Rs.356 million and Om Shanti Om's Rs.401 million and Singh Is Kinng's all time high 431 million opening.[1]
Within two weeks, Welcome grossed around 76 crores, despite facing competition from the highly successful, Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par.[2]
