Walt Disney's Treasury of Classic Tales is an American Sunday comic strip, which ran in newspapers^[1] from the early 1950s until 15 February 1987. Each story adapted a different Disney film, such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, or Davy Crockett. Most stories ran for 13 weeks. A few noteworthy stories:

• 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea drawn by Jesse Marsh (1954)
• The Sword in the Stone (1963)
• The Black Hole drawn by Jack Kirby (26 weeks) September 2, 1979 - February 24, 1980.^[2]
• Return to Oz (1984)
• The Black Cauldron (1984)

In the last two years of the strip, in addition to adaptations of films, there were new stories about characters from Disney films.
