WWF Forceable Entry is a compilation album released by the World Wrestling Federation in 2002. This was the last album sold under the WWF name (the company changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment about a month later). It features mostly rock bands performing versions of each wrestlers entrance music. The album had a sequel released in May 2006. It was the first album the WWF/WWE released under a deal with Columbia Records. The CD was re-released in February/March 2009, only at K-Mart, with the new WWE logo on its cover art for the commemoration of the WrestleMania 25th Anniversary. The album reached a peak of #3 on the Billboard 200[1].

[edit] Notes

  • Drowning Pool's version of "The Game" was performed live at WrestleMania X8, as was Saliva's "Turn The Tables".
  • Interestingly, the album entry for "The Game" contains a misspelling, in that it titles "The Game [Triple H's Theme]" as "The Game [Tripl H's Theme]", however the album's artwork was not misprinted .[2].
  • "Legs" is a cover of a song originally written and performed by ZZ Top
  • Although originally written for both of the Hardy Boyz, "Live for the Moment" was eventually used as the theme for Matt Hardy when he started his singles run.[3]
  • The version of Never Gonna Stop on the album is different from the one Edge actually used. His television theme was "Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)" edited to include the opening "You Think You Know Me" line from his older theme of the same title. The remix of the song featured on the album does not include the "You Think You Know Me Line" nor does it open with "Use my body to keep you relaxed".
  • "Across The Nation" was originally going to be used as Test's theme song[citation needed] until it was decided to be the opening theme song for WWE Raw. CD samplers that were packaged with various DVD released[when?] contained this mix, which features "Test!" chants towards the end of the song[citation needed]. Also included on the CD sampler was an unedited version of "LoveFuryPassionEnergy"[citation needed].
