Location of Volusia, Florida (also the location of Astor, Florida) Volusia, Florida is a small unincorporated town in Volusia County, Florida on the eastern shore of the St. Johns River. It was home to the Port of Volusia at the western end of Juno Trail. The town has about 230 homes. It is located adjacent to the town of Astor in Lake County to the west. The main route of the town is State Road 40, although only 1 residential area lies south of the highway. [edit] GeographyVolusia is located at 29°10′21″N 81°31′21″W / 29.1725°N 81.5225°W. The area of the town is 4.4 miles around the town limits.
