Vladimir Petković (born August 15, 1963 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian [1] football manager and former player who is currently in charge of BSC Young Boys of the Swiss Super League.

Petković was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia in 1963 and he began his professional football career with the city's biggest club, FK Sarajevo[1], in the early 1980s. He went on to have an unremarkable career, however, playing mostly in the lower tiers of Swiss football with the likes of FC Sion, AC Bellinzona and FC Locarno.

After his retirement from playing, he became a coach and his first job was as assistant manager at AC Bellinzona in 2002. In 2004, he took over the reigns at AC Lugano before returning to Bellinzona for the third time in his career, where he led the club to the 2008 Swiss Cup final, only to lose out to FC Basel, and promotion to the Swiss Super League. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season, he was appointed as manager of BSC Young Boys. Since taking charge at the club, Petković has installed a 3-4-3 formation that has the Berne side firmly at the top of the table as of October 2009.
