Vienna Charter Township is a charter township of Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 13,108 at the 2000 census.

• The city of Clio is within the township, but is administratively autonomous. The Clio ZIP code 48420 serves almost the entire township.^[3]
• The city of Mount Morris is to the southeast, and the Mount Morris ZIP code 48458 serves as small area in the southeast part Vienna Township.^[4]
• Farrandville is a small community within the township at the junction of Saginaw Street (M-54) with Farrand Road and Tuscola Road at 43°11′39″N 83°43′36″W / 43.19417°N 83.72667°W / 43.19417; -83.72667 (Farrandville, Michigan)^[5] just Northeast of Clio.^[6] It was named for Ira T. Farrand.^[7]
• Pine Run is a small community within the township at the junction of Vienna Road (M-57) and Saginaw Street (M-54) at 43°10′40″N 83°42′51″W / 43.17778°N 83.71417°W / 43.17778; -83.71417 (Pine Run, Michigan)^[8] just east of Clio.^[6] The first settlers, Charles McLean and Sylvester Hubbard, located near the Pine Run River in 1833. A post office named Pine Run was established on January 15, 1836 with McLean as the first postmaster. A community was platted and recorded with the name Vienna, but when the township was organized with that name in 1837, the town's name was changed to Pine Run. The post office was changed to Thetford on December 26, 1844, but was restored as Pine Run from 1852 to 1867 and from 1898 to 1905.^[7]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.0 square miles (90.8 km²), of which, 35.0 square miles (90.7 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.11%) is water.

As of the census^[1] of 2000, there were 13,108 people, 4,926 households, and 3,669 families residing in the township. The population density was 374.4 per square mile (144.6/km²). There were 5,199 housing units at an average density of 148.5/sq mi (57.3/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 95.99% White, 1.12% African American, 0.51% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 0.78% from other races, and 1.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.97% of the population.

There were 4,926 households out of which 33.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% were married couples living together, 10.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.5% were non-families. 20.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the township the population was spread out with 24.8% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 98.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.3 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $46,863, and the median income for a family was $52,060. Males had a median income of $46,073 versus $26,684 for females. The per capita income for the township was $21,711. About 6.6% of families and 8.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 13.8% of those under age 18 and 3.0% of those age 65 or over.
