Victor K. Braden, Jr. was a champion tennis player in the 1950s, at one time being ranked number two behind Tony Trabert. He has become an esteemed author and instructor in the tennis world [1] with over 25 books and videos.[2] He is known for filming people on the court to improve their strokes.

At Kalamazoo College[3], Vic was the team captain and winner of the league singles championships before graduating in 1951.[4] He was awarded an honorary degree by his alma mater in 2008.[5]

Vic turned pro immediately after graduating college during a time when there were only a few professional tournaments. In his short professional career, Vic was invited three times to play in the World Tennis Championships.[6]
Vic played with Jimmy Evert on the tour.
