Vahid Halilhodžić (born 15 October 1952 in Jablanica) is a former Bosnian footballer and now a manager. Halilhodžić was capped 15 times, scoring eight goals for the Yugoslav national team. He was twice the leading scorer of the French league with FC Nantes Atlantique. After retiring, he coached a number of teams, including Lille and Rennes, and Paris Saint-Germain, where he was between 2003 and 2005. He was the head coach of Trabzonspor in the season 2005-2006 and Al-Ittihad in 2006. On May 11, 2008 Halilhodžić became the manager of the Ivory Coast national football team. [edit] References
