[edit] Message from WikiProject Punk music

Hello!

You may be interested to know that WikiProject Punk music has recently undergone a major revitalization. Please visit the project page to see our new look and check out some of our helpful new features, such as the Assessment Department and the Collaboration of the week. There are also a number of tasks on our Things to do page that you may be interested in helping with.

We are currently holding a roll call to help gauge how many active project members we have. Please visit the project's talk page and add your signature to the roll sheet to express your continued interest in the project. Also, if you have not already done so, please take a minute to add your name to the Participants page along with a brief summary of your punk-related interests, so that other project members will be better able to collaborate with you. If you do not add your signature to the roll sheet by November 30, 2008 your name will be moved to our list of inactive members. We may also take the liberty of removing the project userbox from your userpage if it appears there, to prevent you from automatically appearing in Category:WikiProject Punk music members. Of course you are free to rejoin the project and re-add the userbox at any time if you would like to become active in the project again.

Thank you and we hope you will continue to support WikiProject Punk music!

[edit] Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject).

I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.

If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!

If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.

Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 00:10, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] POV

Regarding this, is there some specific issue you would like to point out? Adding a disputed POV tag without accompanying discussion aimed at resolution doesn't move us forward.  ;-) //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 01:16, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Neutrality

I'm not sure that the project is active anymore. If you have concerns about an article, there are several things you can do. First is to broach your concerns on the article talk page and attempt to discuss your concerns. If that is unsuccessful, you can ask for a request for comments on the dispute, make a posting to biography of living persons noticeboard or perhaps open a dispute mediation if other efforts haven't addressed your concerns. I'm sorry, I don't have any specific persons in mind whom you could approach outside of this. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:01, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Are you referring to me as one of the editor's with an agenda on the Criticism of Bill O'reilly talkpage? If you are (and you're probably not) I'd like to know what makes you think that. Ramsquire (throw me a line) 21:37, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't ask questions unless I want to know the answer. ;) It's unclear whether you are directly responding to me, or stating a general opinion...that's what I wanted cleared up. FTR- It's been my experience that if you speak about specific problems, you can get some movement from the editors on the talkpage. I was able to reorder the article to at least have some logical flow. I know its not much, but it was a start. Most of the editors there will listen to any ideas you have for improvement. (I certainly will). Ramsquire (throw me a line) 21:52, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm still not clear what you are asking. If you want to edit the essay, you can have a go. If you get reverted, you may just want to write up your own essay at a suitable title. Maybe Wikipedia:Charity? Hiding T 12:49, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
