And if you look at featured lists on tallest buildings, such as San Francisco and Dubai, you would notice that the pictures are not part of the table, but individually standing on the right. I, as well as yourself, no doubt, don't want to get into an edit war or the like on this article, so what I am proposing is that the article be left in the form in which I wrote it, and we can discuss it at WP:AIRLINES, so that we can involve the entire project. This way we can have everyone reading off the same page. If an agreement can't be reached on the project page, then we can look at other avenues, but I sincerely hope that we can reach an agreement and concensus as a group. Can we both agree to that? I agree that they are not perfect, but I think they are defininately relevant to the pages, particularly the 2010 YOG page. When we are closer to the Games, or if a enthusiastic Singapore Wikipedian can get better pics, we can certainly update them. Incidently, I noticed you have been having some conflict over the entry of Singapore in the Olympics Template. I made a specific template for the YOG a few days ago which is on all the relevant pages. Naturally, it is the only city listed right now. I hope that works as a compromise for you. [edit] Movement of Hong Kong Olympic pagesHi, please consider the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Olympics/Archive 3#IOC designations, where we had consensus on the article names. The idea was to use the common name for nations where possible, especially where they match the main Wikipedia article name for the nation. Therefore, we have Libya at the 2004 Summer Olympics and not Libyan Arab Jamahiriya at the 2004 Summer Olympics and so on. In Hong Kong's case we agreed that simply using Hong Kong at the Olympics etc. was suitable, especially considering the main article for the territory is at Hong Kong. For now, I am going to re-rename the top-level article back to Hong Kong at the Olympics but keep the 2000-2006 article names unchanged, pending further discussion. Also, I do think your rename of Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China is entirely appropriate, so there is no need for discussion about that. It is not essential information. The amount of people that actually want to know information regarding airplane registrations and the history of those birds know what websites to go to, if people's posts on airliners.net is any indication. I don't see anything in the text part of that page that can't be presented in the main SQ page (which is need of serious clean-up, as there is too much information that doesn't need to be presented in that page, as well). If separate fleet pages and massive registration lists of current and previous aircraft was the norm, your "absolutely normal and essential argument" would work. But it isn't. We need this kind of help for many nations. The best sources for this information are the official reports from each Games, downloadable here. You might also want to read "Singapore and Olympism" here, although that article is from 1980. Note that in 1948, Lloyd Valberg was the lone competitor for Singapore (men's high jump) per the official report. Your source from the SNOC website shows four other names, but those are listed in the official report as all competing for China (ROC). Obviously, Singapore did not have complete teams in football and basketball.
So perhaps they were all Singapore-born but living in Taiwan? In any case, I don't think they should be listed on Singapore at the 1948 Summer Olympics in the same sense as Valberg. They should be removed, or perhaps listed under another section like "Singapore-born athletes competing for the Republic of China", or something. There is currently a debate at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#Reliability of Emporis in building articles as to whether information submitted by registered users of Emporis is verified by senior editors, and (if not) if Emporis is even reliable to use as a source in lists of tallest buildings and skyscraper articles. In addition the line spaces were left intentionally, to give the article a clean and neat appearance, it was reviewed by an admin and they found no problems with the article. So please do not change the article again. It does state in the Wikipedia policy to not go back and forth and undo/redo edits. So please adhere to the policy and let the article be until reviewed by an admin and an editor. I have also provided them the valid reason for spacing and the other material. Plus an admin did review the article after it was written, she made a few changes and did not remove the spacing or any sections. So once I would like to inform you that I have submitted the article to an admin/edior for review, until they have reviewed it and provided their opinion and feedback please do not edit the Ram Kapoor article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Farahs51 (talk • contribs) 03:30, 26 November 2009 (UTC) [edit] Administrator Complaint Filed Against YouI requested that you do not edit the article until the editor assistance has been sought. But you still added and the tag you added is fault because this is a professionally written article, besides the last section there is nothing about the article having a fan flavor to it. Before you add the add again please do show which section besides the "What Ram's Fan's have to say about him" seems written from a fan point of view. This article besides the last section adheres to the Wikpedia standard of writing. IF not please first prove it in my notes. As for the resource the technical person on the team is in the process of adding the refernce link to the source after which we will remove that tag as well. Once again please do not add false tags, lets wait for the editor and the administrator, I did tell the administrator to look at the history and have provided your notes to him. So at this time, just have patience and lets wait. I am also forwarding this to the administrator from whom I have requested help.
