The WikiCup is a fun competition, open to all Wikipedians, new and old, focussing on content contribution. Points are awarded for featured content of all types, as well as various other audited content. If you have any questions about the Cup, please do not hesitate to contact me on my talk page. I'm an administrator on the English Wikipedia, as well as an OTRS volunteer, working with image submissions, image permissions and general complaints/enquiries. I'm also an administrator on Commons- see my userpage there. I edit under my real name and I am a student from Cumbria, England. I have a bot, J Milburn Bot (talk · contribs), which I occasionally run. I'm generally on IRC while editing, and sometimes when not, where I can be found on Wikipedia and Wikimedia channels as J_Milburn. I write articles, work with images (including nice things, like image submissions and FPC) and generally bounce around where I please. I'm happy to offer help on most things, and so if you need anything, you're more than welcome to contact me on my talk page. Among other things, I like to write about fungi (I maintain the fungi portal) and reality TV. In terms of recognised content, I currently have three featured articles, one featured portal and fourteen good articles, and I have had twenty-seven articles feature in the Did You Know? section on the main page. I have made over 50,000 edits on the English Wikipedia, placing me in the top 200 contributors by number of edits. I'm a WikiCup judge, so you're welcome to contact me with any WikiCup issues. If you're not already involved, sign up! I am currently studying philosophy at Lancaster University, which means that, for most of the year, I am connecting through their proxy server. As such, I may have limited web access (in terms of being able to view certain websites and run certain programs), may be offline for days at a time and may share my IP address with thousands of other people. Also, due to this and other issues, my editing habits may be very varied. Various links for my convenience-
MantlepieceRecognised contentThese are my 'best' articles, so defined because they are good articles, have been a featured article candidate or have been featured on the Main Page. Also included are various non-articles. They are arranged in chronological order. Links in bold are pages of which I am particularly proud, and articles marked with an asterisk were created by me.
PicturesThere are also certain recognised pictures for which I would like to claim some of the credit- these are pictures that have been sent to us by the copyright holders. I'm listing them here mostly to keep me motivated to work with the image submission queue at OTRS, which is sometimes surprisingly difficult... Note I did not create any of these pictures.
