My present username is derived from my family name and my given name somehow; I like the arrangement of letters enough to make it my Wikipedia username as well as my handle on IRC. I was originally known as "MessedRocker".

In summary, I am an American Keynesian social democrat Taftist SSD enthusiast Jive-talking robot who has had an account registered on Wikipedia since November 26, 2004 AD. My current computer is a late-2005 PC running Windows 7 Ultimate with a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. I have written Wikipedia articles ranging from government regulations to video games from the 70s to chemicals that get your heart all racy. As of now, I am an industrialist. I also like chemistry and non-sequiturs. I loathe userboxes.

I have served pitifully as a Wikipedia administrator since September 14, 2006 (with an eight month or so period where I did not have administrative access). I specify "pitifully" because my service has not amounted to much. Take that as you will. I also consider myself to be the foremost authority on dispute resolution on Wikipedia. I got a composite score of 29 on my ACT exam.

As noted above, there is no explosive device known as an Irish Car Bomb. Any confusion (doubtful it would be significant) is easily solved with a hatnote directing people to Car bomb or Car bomb (disambiguation). Bottom line: this is the name of the drink, and not of any explosive devices at all. The reason it makes you think of an explosive device is because it was named for the violent use of car bombs in Ireland. Of course it evokes that image, but it's quite simply not using the name of any explosive device. The name Black Russian might sound like a dark-skinned person from Eastern Europe, but since the only recognized definition of the moniker belongs to a cocktail, we don't prematurely disambiguate it. The same goes for a Long Island Iced Tea, which could conjure up thoughts of a refreshing, steeped beverage served by grandmothers in Oyster Bay.
