Unión Española is a Chilean football club based in Santiago. They currently play in the Primera División, the highest tier of the Chilean football system. They have won six national league championships, the last one in 2005.

Union Española was founded on May 18, 1897, by a group of Spanish immigrants in Chile. A memorable year in Union Española's history was 1975, when they lost the Copa Libertadores final against Independiente de Avellaneda.
The club's stadium is Santa Laura, the oldest stadium in Chile which was founded in 1922.
