Uludag University (Turkish: Uludağ Üniversitesi) is one of the most remarkable universities in Turkey. The university is located in Bursa, Turkey. The research and education conducted by the university has an emphasis on engineering, natural sciences and art. In particular, Mechanical Engineering Department has several well-reputed academicians in its organization. The official language of instruction at Uludag University is Turkish.

Bursa Faculty of Medicine (once under İstanbul University) which was established in 1970, and Bursa Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences which was founded in 1974, formed the basis of Uludag University. The university was established in 1975 under the name of Bursa University and the university took its current name in 1982. The faculties of university were established:

The university includes 11 faculties, 1 school on the undergraduate level, 12 vocational schools, 1 conservatoire, 3 institutes, 11 research centers and 6 departments that are under Presidency. In the academic year 2007-2008, there were 44,048 students enrolled in the university.^[1]
