Tuškanac is a neighborhood located in Gornji Grad - Medveščak city district of Zagreb, Croatia. It is best known for its parks and the Tuškanac cinema. Apparently, its name derives from the Tuscan immigrants to Zagreb in fourteenth century. One of them was the great-grandson of Dante Alighieri, Nicolò, who founded the first pharmacy in Zagreb in 1395.
