[edit] History

[edit] Foundation

On November 15, 2006, the Montreal Impact announced the creation of a farm team in Trois-Rivières, and that the name would be chosen from the result of a contest.

The name Trois-Rivières Attak FC and the logo were presented to the public on January 17, 2007, together with the first signings Nicolas Lesage and Jean-Louis Bessé.

[edit] Inaugural season

The Attak were a surprise in their inaugural season by being competitive in the CSL right from the beginning. Even more, they won the Open Canada Cup with a 3-0 victory in the final against opponents Columbus Clan FC. In the league, they finished second in the National Division and reached the playoff semi-final, where they eventually lost against the Serbian White Eagles.

Striker Nicolas Lesage was the CSL 2007 top goalscorer with 16 goals.
