"Tous ensemble" is a 2002 song recorded by French singer Johnny Hallyday. The song was released on April 23, 2002, but it was not included on any album of the singer. It was the official anthem of the French team of football during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. French singer and songwriter Catherine Lara participated in the writing of the lyrics and produced the song. Michel Sanchez, who was member of Deep Forest band, co-wrote the lyrics. The song went straight to number one in France, becoming the second football anthem to reach the top of the singles chart, five years after Ricky Martin's hit "La Copa de la Vida". Surprisingly, it became Hallyday's first number-one hit on the French SNEP Singles Chart, although the singer had at the time 42 years of career.[1]
