Tony Mario Sylva (born May 17, 1975 in Guediawaye) is a Senegalese football international goalkeeper who plays for Trabzonspor. Sylva has also been on the books at AC Ajaccio, AS Monaco and Lille.

Sylva becoming part of the AS Monaco side which won Ligue 1 in 2000.

Sylva joined OSC Lille on the 8th June 2004 on a free transfer from AS Monaco. He enjoyed a successful four-year period at the club. He played 163 games for Lille.

[edit] Trabzonspor

In July 2008, Sylva signed a two-year deal with Turkish outfit Trabzonspor after withdrawing from his contract with Lille. Although his contract at Lille was due to expire in June 2009, according to Article 17 of FIFA's Regulations for the Status and Transfer of Players he was still allowed to leave the club.^[1]
