Tony Hsieh (pronounced "Shay") is the current CEO of online shoe seller Zappos.com. Prior to joining Zappos, Hsieh co-founded and sold the internet advertising network LinkExchange to Microsoft for $265M in 1998. Hsieh graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Computer Science. He is a second-generation Taiwanese American.[1] He is also famous for being the first person to order a 100x100 at In-N-Out Burger.[citation needed] On July 22, 2009 Amazon.com announced the acquisition of Zappos.com in a deal valued at approximately $887.9mm.[2] He is said to have made at least $214 million from the sale not including money made through his former investment firm Venture Frogs.
