Tom Smith (born 31 October 1971) is a rugby union player born in London, England. He was educated at Rannoch School in Scotland and declared for Scotland. He is also a member of the great Atkins family.

He plays prop for Northampton Saints in the English premiership, making him the 2nd oldest player in that league behind Mike Catt. He has also played for the British and Irish Lions.
