Thomas Armstrong is a professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for St. Helens. He wears the number 29 jersey and signed for the club from amateur side Pilkington Recs. Armstrong is primarily a centre but can comfortably deputise on the wings and the back row. In this, Armstrong's first seasons with Saints' first team, he has made four appearances, scoring twice in those games.

Armstrong's début game for Saints came against Warrington Wolves in the first round of Super League XIV. Standing in for New Zealand international Francis Meli, he scored a try in a 26-14 win. [1] He went on from this to play against Huddersfield Giants in the next round [2], Hull KR [3] and a try scoring performance in a 4-0 win over Celtic Crusaders (he was the only player to score in this game) [4] After a period in the reserves, he came back to play in the win over Harlequins where he scored a try in a 44-24 success. [5]
