[edit] Rob Baker

Not much is known about Todd Alexander, other than his portrayal of Rob Baker in Ghostwriter. The mysterious write-off of his character has been one of the more slightly controversial subjects discussed amongst Ghostwriter fans, as the character was quite popular among the consensus, as well considered a minor heart-throb.

According to IMDB and its message board, the young actor had breached his contract for appearing in a Koolaide commercial unbeknownst to PBS[1]. The station insisted all outside endorsements to be clarified before one could commit their work with said endorsement. This breach subsequently led to the relocation of his character, to fit with the young actor's replacement which was later filled in by William Hernandez. A court case ensued afterwards, to which the Alexander's side lost. It is unconfirmed whether the rumor is true; however, it best explains why Todd Alexander suddenly "left" during Season Two of the series.

[edit] Other work

He appeared in the 1989 movie Lean On Me, a role in the comedy series Kate & Allie, and a handful of kids-related commercial appearances.

[edit] Personal life

After leaving PBS, Todd worked on and off on a few commercials but mainly focused on school and a personal life.

Todd graduated from New York University in 2002.[2] He is currently working behind the camera as a writer and director.
