Timothy George Alexander Prince OBE (born February 1949) is one of the founding members of the Royal International Air Tattoo[1][2], the world’s largest military airshow.

Tim Prince worked for the DTI / CAA as an Air Traffic Controller from 1966 to 1978. He was one of the founding members of the Air Tattoo[1], which was first staged at North Weald Airfield in 1971.[3] He is currently the Chief Executive of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises and overall Director of the Royal International Air Tattoo. He is also a founding member and Trustee of the Royal International Air Tattoo Flying Scholarships for the Disabled.

He lives in Stroud, Gloucestershire, UK with his wife Penny, with whom he has two sons, Rufus & Hugh.

Prince was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2009 Birthday Honours.[4]
