Tim Conboy (born March 22, 1982 in Rosemount, Minnesota) is an ice hockey Right Winger for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. Conboy was drafted 217th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. After two seasons with St. Cloud State, he turned pro in 2004, joined the Sharks' American Hockey League affiliate the Cleveland Barons with the 2004–05 NHL season locked out. After another season with the Barons, he signed with the Carolina Hurricanes and spent another season in the AHL, this time with the Albany River Rats. Conboy was called up from the Albany River Rats on January 12, 2008, due to Hurricanes defenseman Glen Wesley being placed on injured reserve. He played 19 regular season games and scored 5 assists with 60 penalty minutes. [edit] External links
