Coordinates: 1°15′18″N 103°49′4″E / 1.255°N 103.81778°E The Tiger Sky Tower, previously known as Carlsberg Sky Tower, is Singapore’s highest observation tower located at Sentosa. It has a height of 110 metres above ground, about 36 floors high, and 131 metres above sea level where one can view the entire length of Singapore's skyline and a panoramic view of the island. On a clear day, one may even be able to see part of Johor Bahru and Indonesia's skyline. The tower is owned by C. Melchers GmbH & Co.

[edit] ConstructionThe Sky Tower was manufactured by HUSS Maschinenfabrik of Bremen, Germany. The Sky Tower was fabricated within 6 months at HUSS's factory in Europe. [edit] ManagementSky Tower Pte Ltd is a project conceived by Melchers Project Management Pte Ltd. Melchers Project Management, being the managing shareholder of Sky Tower Pte Ltd, runs the daily operations of the Carlsberg Sky Tower in close co-operation with Sentosa Leisure Group (SLG). SLG is Sky Tower’s Operations, Marketing, Sales and Ticketing agent. Carlsberg was the name sponsor of the Sky Tower. However, in 2008, the name sponsor was changed to Tiger. [edit] External links |
