Tiffany Hines is an American television actress and singer. Hines was born September 2, 1983 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her mother Deborah Hines resides in Cincinnati, Ohio and works as a teacher, and her father David Hines resides in New Jersey working as an consultant. She has one sister, Andrea Hines who currently serves in the US Air Force. Hines played the violin and piano as a child, and she performed for the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra while living in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to AMTC as well ( http://www.amtcworld.com/the-results/top-100/tiffany-hines ) She attended the Seven Hills School in Cincinnati, OH and attended the University of Cincinnati for two years (where she studied marketing), before leaving to pursue a career in television. Tiffany danced competitively as a child and when she was older taught at various dance studios in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area before leaving. She began her dance choreography career at the age of 15 by creating a solo lyrical dance for her sister and won various first second and third place titles at various regional and national dance competitions for both performances and choreography. She won dance titles in areas of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and acrobatic dancing. She appeared in the motion picture Milk Money as an extra in the dance scene. She performed with a Cincinnati based band named Camden as a back-up singer for one year. When Camden dissolved, she sang lead vocals for another Cincinnati based band named Low Key and performed regularly at several Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations, before moving to Los Angeles. She co-wrote many of their original songs that they performed. Hines still sings, and hopes one day to have a vocal career. Currently Hines stars in the television series Beyond the Break as Birdie Scott. She was also seen in a 2006 Dodge Truck Campaign and print campaign, Old Navy advertisements, and a MLB commercial with Tommy Lasorda. She also guest starred in 2 episodes of the 2006 season finale of Grey's Anatomy Episode 26 "Deterioration of the fight or Flight response" and Episode 27 "Losing My Religion". Her most recent appearance was on the NBC show Heroes Episode 8, "Homecoming", and the CBS show Criminal Minds Episode 38 "Fear and Loathing." She was featured in the February 2007 issue of King Magazine. She had a small co-starring role in the series "Miss/Guided" which aired on CBS. In 2008 she played the role of Michelle in "Shark Swarm", the role of Jackie Geraud in "This Can't Be My Life", the role of Sylvie in "Dandelion Dharma", and the role of Allysha in "Winged Man". The Winged Man received official selection in the Rhode Island film festival, LA Short Film Festival, and Big Bear Film Festival. Hines will play the role of Makayda in the upcoming film "The Dark Party." She played the recurring guest role of Kelly Hawkins, a lesbian student on ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights," and will play the role of Maya in the upcoming mini series "Meteor:Path to Destruction," and the role of Layla in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
