Tiffanie Adair Anderson (born August 15, 1988) is an American singer and dancer. Anderson is best known as a member of the musical group Girlicious. As of June, 2009, she is no longer a part of the group.
[edit] HistoryAnderson is a Los Angeles native, and is best known for being a member of the musical group Girlicious. [edit] Music career[edit] GirliciousTiffanie was a contestant on the CW Reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, in which she became one of the four girls to make up the group, Girlicious. Anderson was known during the show primarily for her over-the-top personality and vocals and being openly opinionated. Anderson had only won one challenge during the show, however she was the only one never be placed in the bottom two. She was friends with Nichole Cordova and Charlye Nichols during the show, the rival clique of Natalie Mejia, Chrystina Sayers and Jenna Artzer. However, they reconciled in the later part of the show. As a member, she has been the opening of pop group Backstreet Boys for their Unbreakable Tour that started in July and ended in September. She has also opened up for Britney Spears on The Circus Starring: Britney Spears tour. Anderson has appeared in Jibbs and Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton's video for "Go Too Far".[1] While on her tour with producer Robin Antin and the label decided to change their look from R&B/hip-hop to pop/dance-pop genre and Tiffanie didn't like the change so was asked to leave the group because she was "too urban" for the groups new direction. [edit] Departure from the bandSince early June, 2009, rumors have spread regarding Tiffanie’s place in Girlicious, and whether she was still currently a part of the group or not. Speculations of Anderson’s departure were sparked primarily by their MySpace account, when all photos of Anderson were completely removed from the site, along with the heading title of their MySpace page (which previously read "Nic, Nat, Tiff and Chrys, that's who the hell we are"), changed to “Nic, Nat, and Chrys, that's who the hell we are", removing Tiffanie’s alias from the quote altogether.[2] Furthermore sparking rumors of Anderson's displacement from Girlicious was a Twitter update from Robin Antin, which read: "Girlicious fans! Nic, Nat & Chrys r getting ready to record a new single, new video, & tour the world! We LOVE YOU 4 LOVING GIRLICIOUS!" [3] It was officially confirmed on June 11, 2009, via a YouTube video upload from Anderson’s official YouTube channel, that she is no longer a member of Girlicious.[4][5] In the video, Anderson cites changes with their new record label and sound, stating: "Robin Antin and the label were looking for a new direction for the group" ... "they were looking for the group to not be [urban] any longer". She also speaks of personal differences between some of the girls, saying the group wasn't seeing eye-to-eye on a lot of things: "a couple of the girls and I didn't have the same values or the same morals - causing a huge conflict in the end of it all." Robin Antin has officially announced Tiffanie's departure from the band during a press interview. [edit] Solo careerOn June 22, 2009 from the rapper Chanel CC of Fantasy Factory, her new song was released and Tiffanie was featured. The song is called Melting Like Ice Cream.[6] The song is produced by Mike Mac. [edit] Discography[edit] Albums
