Men's Baseball
Silver Athens 2004 Team Competition

Thomas Brice (born August 24, 1981) in Woodville, South Australia is an Australian baseballer.

He grew up in Adelaide, earning a reputation among the local Australian baseball scene as a standout hitter. He was scouted by several American universities and was signed to a baseball scholarship in 2001 by Wayne Larker to play for Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette, Alabama.

During his time there he gained several newspapers and media attention during the 2002 season as he had the highest batting average in NJCAA to date, hitting 11 home runs while flirting with a .500 batting avg. He was drafted that summer to the Chicago White Sox in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.

In 2004, he was part of the Australian Olympic baseball team, who achieved a Silver Medal in the baseball tournament at the Athens Olympics. In the Gold Medal Game, down 2-0 in the 4th with two on and two out, Brice hit a long fly to center against Norge Vera that was caught by CF Carlos Tabares at the wall in a controversial play that got Jon Deeble ejected for arguing the call. He finished 0 for 3 with a walk in the 6-2 defeat as Australia won Silver.

He played right field for the Australian national team during the 2006 World Baseball Classic. Later that year he moved to Taiwanese professional team Macoto Cobras.
