Thiago Heleno Henrique Ferreira or simply Thiago Heleno (born September 17, 1988 in Sete Lagoas (Minas Gerais)), is a Brazilian central defender. He currently plays for Cruzeiro.

Thiago Heleno was brought up from the Cruzeiro youth squad.

He made his professional debut in a 2-0 home win for Cruzeiro against Juventude in the Campeonato Brasileiro on May 7, 2006.[1]

Thiago Heleno scored his first professional goal for Cruzeiro against Fortaleza in a 2-0 away win on June 3, 2006.[2]

Thiago Heleno is capped at Brazil Under 17 level. With the Brazil Under 17 squad he won the 2005 South American Under 17 Football Championship.

Thiago Heleno is also capped at the Brazil Under 18 level, where he has 14 caps and 7 goals, under his name.

He is part of the Brazil Under 20 squad. Thiago Heleno was called up to play in the 2007 South American Youth Championship. He was involved in six of the nine matches that Brazil had to compete in. He played every minute in the games he was involved in, except for the one against Paraguay were he was substituted in the 81st minute. Thiago Heleno played in the final, where Brazil won 2-0 against Colombia; Brazil winning the cup for the 9th time in history.
