The Temp is a 1993 thriller film about a cookie company executive whose temp starts killing his employers. The film stars Timothy Hutton, Lara Flynn Boyle and Faye Dunaway. It was released from Paramount Pictures on February 12, 1993.

This film was directed by Tom Holland (Masters of Horror, Childsplay), and written by Tom Engelman and Kevin Falls (Shark). An admin assistant Faye Dunaway (Supergirl) takes leave, and the executive Timothy Hutton (Broken Hill) recruits a temp Lara Flynn Boyle (Poltergeist III). The executive starts to note the death of some of his rivals, Dwight Schultz (Fat Man and Little Boy) and Oliver Platt (A Time To Kill). When the admin assistant returns, the temp begins her own way up the recruitment ladder.
