The Summer Set is a Pop Rock band from Scottsdale, Arizona.

After a few years of playing music, brothers Stephen and John Gomez, along with longtime friend Jessica Bowen, and new found vocalist Brian Dales, set out in the spring of 2007 to form The Summer Set. The original name of the band was Last Call for Camden, until Kennedy Brock left the band to play guitar in The Maine. The Summer Set self-released their first EP, "*Love the Love You Have," in November 2007. The band independently sold 7,000+ copies in just a few short months. They quickly captured the hearts of local fans in their hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona and assembled a strong and loyal fan base across the west from weekend tours.

After shopping around to find the perfect label for the band, The Summer Set signed a record deal with The Militia Group in April 2008.^[1][2] Guitarist Dillon Morris left the band and was replaced with guitarist Josh Montgomery before the band set out to record their debut EP entitled “*...In Color ”. “...In Color” was released on iTunes June 24 and was reviewed on several music websites.^[3][4][5]

The Summer Set recorded an Indie-Pop version of Usher's hit song "Love In This Club" The band released the song for download on their Buzznet page.

The band released their 3rd EP Meet Me on the Left Coast in December 2008, with two new tracks. It also had a "Love in this Club" as an iTunes bonus track.

The Summer Set's debut album, Love Like This was released October 13 of 2009.

The band played a Christmas Show entitled, "One Night Stand" at The Venue Of Scottsdale in their hometown of Arizona on December 26, 2008. The band played along with The Maine, The Cab, This Century, Hello Hollywood & This Season's Love.

They tagged along on the "Guys Guys Guys" tour in spring of 2009.

They supported The Cab on their "What Happens In Vegas..." tour from June 18 until August 9 along with Anarbor, Eye Alaska, A Rocket To The Moon, The Secret Handshake, and My Favorite Highway.

The band supported A Rocket To The Moon, Ian Walsh, and Vita on a mini tour.

The band will support Cartel on their tour from October 22 to November 27 along with This Providence and The Dares.

They are scheduled to play The Bamboozle festival this May

They have been confirmed for the AP Tour 2010 alongside Hey Monday, The Cab, Nevershoutnever!, and Every Avenue.

They have announced to play the Warped Tour 2010
