The Punisher Vol.2: Purgatory is a Marvel comic book series featuring the character Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher. This limited series consists of four issues and was written by Christopher Golden. It was published as part of the Marvel Knights Label.

This series was a departure from the normal Punisher stories as it dealt with supernatural themes.

After Frank Castle's suicide, the alley he shot himself in became a shrine for all the downtrodden victims of crime. However, a figure with glowing eyes and an arcane sigil on his forhead has been carrying out similar deeds as The Punisher once did. This phantom slowly begins to remember who he is, eventually discovering not only the possession that drives him, but the guardian angel that failed to save his family.
