The Deep Dark Woods are a Canadian alt-country band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. They have released three albums; a self titled debut in 2006, Hang Me, Oh Hang Me in 2007, and Winter Hours in 2009. They have also toured and played alongside the likes of The Sadies, Steve Earle, Utah Phillips, Magnolia Electric Co. and The Stills.^[1]

In 2009, they recorded a new song, "Charlie's (Is Coming Down)", for CBC Radio 2's Great Canadian Song Quest.
